I have always loved photography, especially film and completed a Bachelor of Arts – Photography Major at Queensland College of Art. In my final year I held a solo exhibition of architectural photographs at the RAIA Queensland Chapter in Brisbane.

My education and work has covered architecture, photography, marketing and broadcast graphic design.

My adventure with Lomography started around 1998 when I began to hear and read little snippets about Lomo and in 1999 on a trip to Tokyo I saw the Lomo LCA camera and people using it but stupidly didn’t buy one.  It wasn’t until the next year when I saw a small ad in Drum Media for Lomography Australia that I made contact and finally bought my first Lomo LCA camera.

In 2000 I entered an Australian Lomolympics competition and won and was sent to Tokyo to compete in the International Lomolympics.  This trip was amazing, meeting other lomographers and taking part in the craziest 3-day competition with 25 other contestants from around the world competing in track and field events such as SumoLomo, Lomo Quick Draw and the Lomarathon (3 rolls of film and a list of 101 things to lomo, that is 108 shots to get 101 things).

I have taken part in many group Lomo exhibitions and had my work published in three Lomo photographic books, “Don’t Think Just Shoot”, “Colorsplash Chakras” and “Lomo LC-A The Greatest Camera of All Time”.

I took part in the Ludlites Love Music exhibition at Bondi Pavilion in May 2013 and soon after bought a Holga.  Now I carry at least two cameras with me at all times.

In July 2013 I was honoured and excited to be invited to join the Ludlites group.  The Ludlites, aside from shooting on film, shoot exclusively on plastic lens cameras.

I love collecting images from my travels and daily adventures and have always loved “just looking at the pictures”.
